retailLotto ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Lotto Retail LLC. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile and desktop applications.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and name to authenticate you and associate your data with your account.
Store Data: The app stores lottery inventory data (pack numbers, game numbers, sales records, settlement data) that you enter. This data is stored on our cloud servers and synced across your devices.
Portal Credentials: If you choose to use the portal reconciliation feature, your state lottery portal username and password are stored locally on your device and transmitted securely to our servers only to perform reconciliation on your behalf. We do not store portal passwords on our servers beyond the duration of the sync operation.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the app's functionality
- To sync your inventory data across your devices
- To perform portal reconciliation when you request it
- To send you important account notifications (e.g., license expiration)
Data Storage & Security
Your data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on servers hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information or store data with third parties. Your inventory and sales data belongs to you.
Multi-Store Access
If you grant other users (managers, clerks) access to your store, they will be able to view and modify the inventory data for that store based on their assigned role. You control who has access through your account settings.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data stored in your account
- Export your data at any time through the app
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Revoke access for any users you have granted store access to
Children's Privacy
retailLotto is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
